“Every girl wants to be beautiful, but not every girl understands what beauty entails.”
Beauties to Behold will be hosting its First Annual “Woman of BEAUTY” Gala to celebrate the incredible contributions of women in the Western Mass community, as well as the girls who participate in the Beauties to Behold program each Wednesday at the JC Williams Community Center in Springfield, MA.
We all know someone who has stepped out of their comfort zone, overcome adversity, and challenged the status quo to create change and make a significant impact in our community, and this is a great opportunity to honor them. Nominations are currently being accepted for recipients of several Woman of BEAUTY awards in the following categories:
Eye of the Beholder – This woman has overcome projected
self-images and helped others to do the same.
Education Works – A woman who has advanced her education
formally or informally, and used what she learned to empower
& improve our community.
Walking in Purpose – By finding and living her purpose this
woman has liberated others to do the same.
The Villager – Community volunteer or activist making changes
throughout the community via grass-root efforts or involvement
with Community Based Organizations.
Young BEAUTY – A young lady under 25 empowering other
young people to be great or impacting their community in a
