“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.”
I totally missed writing about Day 3, but I’m back to share reflections from the last 2 days.
I am grateful for moments of recalibration, times when I can hit the pause button, gather my thoughts, and consider the direction of my life. I can spend time with God, in worship, allowing Him to search my heart, mold me into who He wants me to be, and download strategy for my next steps when I get up from my knees.
I am grateful for moments when I can examine my preferences, my habits, my goals – and my reasons for having them. In these times, as I behold the wonder of God’s Presence, I’m able to more clearly see who I am, and who I am becoming. I am replenished by His Strength, and better able to take on whatever task or challenge lies ahead.
