The Will to Move

Run, run, keep running,

Faster, farther…Wait! Too. Tired. Slowing down.

Trying to keep up, instead I’m worn out.

I stop. Just a pause. I. Need. Rest.

Breathe in, Breathe out. Repeat.

I look back toward the starting point. Gaze longingly at the finish line.

Must. Find. The will to move.

  4. This is exactly how I felt running my first marathon.. But just kept going. By this time I could see the finish line and knew the miles back to the start. The only way to go was forward 😊

    1. Hi Megan! That is precisely how I feel about life right now – “the only way to go is forward”!
